HRIA Committees
HRIA’s goal is to address the various concerns and issues related in monthly meetings by a coordination of residents’ efforts. Committees purpose is to focus on current activities for the betterment of the community.
These committees are successful because of the dedication of residents who volunteer and make an impact to the community. We welcome all residence that can contribute to a committee by sharing his/her skills or talents. The commitment to service is rewarding and beneficial to you, neighbors and our organization.
Housing & Environment
Purpose:
To ensure that the Hillen Community’s housing, garages, and business properties with the Hillen Community’s boundaries are maintained at their highest level and in accordance with Baltimore City Codes/Ordinances.
Housing Goal:
To review/assess the exterior housing and property upkeep within HRIA boundaries are in accordance with Baltimore City Housing Codes/Ordinances.
Environment Goal:
To review/assess the signage/poles, roadways, storm drains, city/business owned property (including trees, green spaces, alleys, and lots) within the HRIA boundaries.
Activities & Welcome
The Activities and Welcome committee will organize events and activities that brings the community together to get to know neighbors and friends. While promoting a positive and safe community then end goal is to relieve stress, cut loose and have fun. The committee distributes welcome packets and material for new and seasoned residents looking for guidance/history of our community
